Men's Ministry
“What Is MANUP?”
There is a small buzz coming from the KCFI Men, and it’s called “M.A.N.U.P.”, which stands for Men Answering the Need for Understanding Purpose. Birthed from the heart of men needing a safe outlet to voice various concerns associated with men, where brothers can bond in strength with each other, MANUP is meeting the goals set in its Vision and Mission Statements:
VISION STATEMENT
MANUP will provide guidance, support, and encouragement to empower and inspire men to be all that God has called them to be.
MISSION STATEMENT
MANUP’s reach will be accomplished through national, state, and district level platforms. Our time together will foster opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and fun. The measurement of our success will be seen by our understanding and growth as men according to God’s Word.
MANUP meets on its Virtual Zoom Platform every fourth Monday of each month, for one hour (7pm-8pm EST). Hosted by its Founder, Bishop-Designate Dawson, powerful words of wisdom come from various KCFI Top Tier Leadership.
And so, we encourage all of the Men of the KCFI Family, from every State, District, and City, to please take advantage of what has been sanctioned and approved by our Presiding Prelate, Bishop Jerome H. Ross, Sr., as a viable source of strength for the men of our Fellowship. We encourage the women of KCFI to encourage the men in your life (Husbands, Fathers, Sons, Grandsons, and Boyfriends) to become and active part of our monthly gathering, as we come together to sharpen the skills, motivations, and dreams of each other. Our main scripture of reference, that gives us reason to gather on a monthly basis, is Job 14:1, “Man that is born of a woman Is of few days, and full of trouble.”
And we are simply trying to help each other conquer those few days!!!
